Leak Detection Powder Usage:
Flouresent leak detection powder for baghouse testing is used to detect compromised filter bags, seals, tubesheets, or other ares with the baghouse system.The leak detection powder is introduced into the system either from the dirty air plenum, or a collection point in the system.As the leak detection powder flows through the system, trace amounts are deposited in areas that have come into contact with the leak detection powder.A maintenance technician will then perform a visual inspection of the entire baghouse with a inspection light which causes the leak powder to glow.


Leak Detection Powder Usage Formula:
Use 1kg of the leak detection powder is required for every 200 square metre of filter area in the collector.Always round up to the nearest full pound for ease of use.
